FIGHTING OBESITY PERSONALLY
Being overweight is one of the signs of lifestyle disease.
Being overweight doesn't only mean that your weight is above normal, but it means that you possess an excessive number of fat tissues and cells. It means that the amount of energy you gain from eating does not get used up well enough through your daily activity, which end-up as fat in your body. This results in taxing your various organs, which in turn may initiate lifestyle diseases like diabetes, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure.
How to prevent obesity?:

How to burn-off fat, through proper diet?
Don't try to lose weight thoughtlessly, let's try to think of balancing our three meals.
Let's try to chew 20 times before we swallow each bite, and refrain from eating fast.
Let's try not to eat until we're full but leave some space for more.
Keep your body active and move about from time to time.
Take a walk about 30 minutes a day.
Let's learn the joy of exercise.

To check your obesity level there is the BMI scale. When your BMI scale is above 25 you are considered obese.
Why is self-medication necessary?
We can't leave our health up to others.
Japanese people's longevity has become number one in the world. In its background we can see, through the improvement in public hygiene and advancement in medical technology, namely tuberculosis and other highly contagious acute diseases have dramatically decreased.

Because of this situation, the time in a person's life where they have no sickness or disease, in other words, to lengthen the time a person stays healthy has become a real issue.
To cure the life-style diseases, and leave your health solely up to a physician, namely, "Doctor centered health care", is not the real goal. The thing that each sick person should individually strive for is to bring them-self, back to a healthy condition. For each one of us to protect, keep, and improve our own health, self-medication becomes very necessary.
What is self-medication?
So, what do we mean when we say self-medication? Self-medication means to manage our health ourselves. For example, when our illness is light, to ease our symptom or prevent it from getting worse, we take our own responsibility in using OTC drugs to relieve or cure ourselves. Don't you have the experience of buying a drug at a pharmacy and curing your illness? That is called self-medication.

Antioxidants are natural elements which assist the body in fighting with various body problems. They boost the immune system and save the body from radical damages caused by pollution, smoking and stress.
Medical experts also recommends for using antioxidants as dietary supplements in order to get various health benefits.
